Raissa Gerona - Creative Director/Co-Founder

Obsessed with vintage clothing and accessories, Raissa always knew vintage was the way to go. "It felt good knowing that I was the only one that would be wearing my outfit–guaranteed." After college, she shopped regularly for vintage and soon began making re-creations from vintage clothing, each one uniquely distinct from the other. She sold her wares on Ebay, sample sales and even started hosting vintage parties.

Through this, she learned about fabrics, garment construction and most importantly, realized how much vintage clothing was available to re-use. "There´s something so amazing in saving fabric to re-invent. The process is difficult, but the reward at the end makes it all worth it."

Inspired by beautiful vintage fabrics and the countless women she´s met who desired one-of-a-kind clothing, Raissa launched Brigid Catiis in April 2008. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Raissa loves to learn, travel, eat, ride her bike, collect shoes and of course, search for vintage treasures.
