Brigid Catiis was founded on the idea to "Do Good".

Recognizing the opportunity to fill a void in the fashion community with a clothing line that was both eco-friendly and contemporary, Brigid Catiis came into fruition in April of 2008.

Each collection, one season to the next, is made from recycled, reclaimed or sustainable fabrics, allowing each piece to always be 100% green. To create the one-of-a-kind and limited-edition pieces, fabrics are hand-picked, individually cut and sewn, and made with love in Los Angeles. Because styles and colors are unique, Brigid Catiis can guarantee exclusivity to those who wear the brand.

In June 2009, Brigid Catiis began using sustainable fabrics that is also locally made in Long Beach, California from one of the last few mills left in the state. The transition to use sustainable fabrics was easy because it is great for the environment. It’s made with natural and renewable fibers, without pesticides and does not require much land or energy to produce.

Since Brigid Catiis uses only excess and sustainable fabrics, little harm is done to the environment. Water, energy and resources are dramatically conserved.

By bridging a love for fashion and the environment into each Brigid Catiis creation, the hope is that awareness to “Do Good” will spread, even if it just starts with being more mindful of the clothes we wear.
